Um, um, um! I love me some cake. Not only the kind of cake you eat, but that sweet little something that you get rewarded with when you do something you’re supposed to.
You know what I’m talking about. A “goodie”, a “cookie”, a “freebie”, whatever you want to call it.
You’ve seen it here, but I know you’ve seen it elsewhere too. When you visit a website, a blog, Facebook, or a shop & you do something that they ask you to do, like sign up to receive a weekly newsletter or purchase something, then you get a little treat as a thank you. It’s a little instant gratification for doing what they wanted you to do. A reward. I talked about doing this in my example for a previous weeks biz challenge.
So in today’s Biz Challenge, I want you to create a “piece of cake” that you’re going to reward people with when they do something you want them to.
You can reward them for liking your Facebook page, signing up for your newsletter, buying something from you, referring customers to you, so on & so forth. Make sure it’s something that they would like of course. You want to entice them to do something, right?
Here are some examples…

- a discount on a product
- a printable
- an informational product {e-book}
- a free pattern or DIY project
- a sneak peek into a new project
